Atlas Organics Makes Inc 5000 List of Fastest Growing Companies in America

Atlas Organics makes the annual Inc 5000 list at #612 one of the Fastest Growing Private Companies in America. “We are excited to be recognized by Inc Magazine. We take great pride in redefining and revolutionizing the composting industry and believe it’s a big reason why we continue to grow,” says CEO Joseph McMillin. McMillin along with COO Gary Nihart, founded Atlas Organics in 2015 and have grown the business from just one location with a handful of people to a powerhouse composting company spanning 5 states, 8 locations, and more than 100 employees. “This is more than just a few people making a difference, it’s much bigger than that and we appreciate all of our supporters, customers, investors, and partners who are willing to make an impact,” says McMillin.

Science and Technology

Science and technology have provided the backbone of the process while passion is the fuel that drives their growth says Nihart. “Our mission is to be a part of something much bigger than ourselves. It’s what motivates us each day to be the biggest and best in the world.” Recent public/private partnerships with the City of San Antonio in Texas and a recent acquisition in Tampa, Florida have ignited the company’s expansion efforts. The company shows no signs of slowing down both in the southeast and across the country.

Unique Solution

Atlas Organics provides a unique organic waste management solution for restaurants, sports venues, hospitals, large and medium sized corporations, and municipalities. Atlas Organics also provides a residential services program known as “Compost House.” Extending the company’s services and collections program to residents and companies wishing to make an impact and lessening the burden placed on waste management and landfills.  Part of Atlas Organics solution is turning the organic waste in to usable compost available in large bulk deliveries as well as manageable residential loads. Compost is the product manufactured through controlled aerobic, biological decomposition of biodegradable materials.  Compost rebuilds the soil and can be used in landscaping, agriculture, sports fields, golf courses, home gardens, and much more.
