Dump Your Pumpkin Events

Don’t throw away your old pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns!  Let’s compost them instead! Atlas Organics announces their “Dump Your Pumpkin” events in South Carolina. More than 1.3 billion pounds of pumpkins reach landfills every year. There is a better way. Residents can make a direct impact on their local waste efforts by diverting their pumpkins, jack-o-lanterns and gourds from landfills and sending them to their local Atlas Organics composting facility. The composting event is a first for Atlas Organics, but the company hopes to make composting events like this a staple in every community.

South Carolina Events

Dump Your Pumpkin events in Spartanburg, SC will be held  on November 6 and 13, from 8am – 12pm at the Hub City Farmers Market and on November 14, 2021 from 12pm – 4pm at the Downtown Sunday Market.
